OCA Membership

The Old City Association is an organization with a Board of Directors, Bylaws, and a Budget, and our goal is to be as transparent as possible so you see where money and efforts are going. Our official Purpose, as stated in our Bylaws is “to promote and advance the success of Knoxville’s Old City as an historic, unique, and vibrant neighborhood.”

Specific ways we achieve that mission are to:

  • ADVOCATE  for the neighborhood’s best interests, including safety and consideration in things like public improvements.
  • COMMUNICATE to stay knowledgeable about everything from member updates to road closures, construction and other issues that affect the Old City.
  • PROMOTE our neighborhood and its businesses.
  • CELEBRATE our unique neighborhood with members-only gatherings for the OCA, plus events to promote commerce and community in the Old City.

Open to Old City residents, tenants, or individuals employed by a business operating within the recognized boundaries of the Old City.

  • Monthly neighborhood meetings/forums
  • Opportunity to host an OCA meeting

$1,200 a year
